Carton picker
Choose the box for each carton from your consumables, use the item's own box, or enter a custom size. A custom size takes length, width, height and weight, and can be marked as a soft pack for bags and envelopes. Duplicate a carton when the next one holds the same items.
How it works
Every carton with items in it needs a box before the order can ship. You choose the box on the carton itself.
- Your cartons: pick from the cartons, polybags and bubble mailers you've set up as packaging. You can also scan or type a carton's SKU and packout selects it.
- Item's own box: ship a single unit in the box it came in.
- Custom size: enter the length, width and height in inches and the weight in pounds.
Custom sizes
Check Soft pack (bag/envelope) for a bag or envelope, and the girth is worked out from the dimensions you enter.
Typing a SKU
If what you've typed still matches more than one carton, packout waits until only one is left or you pick one from the list. A carton that's about to be chosen is highlighted, and the chosen one keeps a check mark.
More than one carton
Add as many cartons to an order as you need. Use Duplicate carton when the next box holds the same items, as long as enough unpacked units are left to fill it.
