Product images and files
Attach product images and documents to items and other records with Attach file.
How it works
Open an item and select Attach File. Choose the files, choose what they are, then upload.
- Product image: a picture of the item, as JPEG, PNG or WebP.
- Document: a PDF or any of those image types.
Each file can be up to 10 MB. A file that's too big or the wrong type is flagged before anything uploads.
Where product images show
An item's product image shows as a thumbnail wherever the item appears, including order lines, the item lists in packout, and the work cards in rapid and mass batches. Packers see the picture next to the SKU.
Files on other records
Other records in ShipGenius have Attach File too, for documents. Use View Files on a record to see what's attached to it.
Permissions
Attaching a file to an item needs permission to edit items.
