Ship checklist

The Ready to ship when checklist shows what's left to do on an order and why Ship is blocked. It lists conditions such as All items packed, Every carton boxed, Address validated and Customs, and you can work through them in any order. International orders can't ship until customs is complete.

How it works

The Ready to ship when checklist sits beside the order in packout. One list shows what's left to do and why Ship is blocked. Nothing on it is numbered, so you work through it in any order.

What it checks

  • All items packed: units packed out of the total, such as 3/4.
  • Every carton boxed: each carton with items in it has a box or a custom size.
  • Address validated: blocks only when the order requires a validated address. Select Check to validate it.
  • Customs: marked domestic on a domestic order. An international order is blocked until customs is complete, and Fix opens the customs check.
  • Order on hold or Order canceled: shown when they apply. A held order shows its hold reason, and Fix releases it.
  • Last ship attempt: shown when the last try failed. Ship stays available so you can try again.

Blocking items sit at the top, then pending ones, then what's passed. When everything passes, the list folds into one line that reads All checks passed.

When Ship is blocked

The Ship button names what's blocking it. Selecting it opens the checklist, so you go straight to what needs fixing.

Packing materials

Inserts and other packing materials the items need are listed below the checks. They're reminders and don't block shipping.
