Items
Keep every SKU as an item with its UPC, type, unit of measure, case and pallet quantities, dimensions and weight. Add a customs profile, carrier rules and prices. Add a secondary scan code for a second barcode.
How it works
Every product you ship is an item. Create one under Items with New Item, or open an existing item to edit it.
What an item holds
- Identifiers: SKU, UPC, description, item type and unit of measure. Secondary Scan holds a barcode that is neither the SKU nor the UPC.
- Inventory: case and pallet quantities.
- Measurements: length, width, height and weight, in imperial or metric.
- Associations: the item's customs profile and its consumable record.
- Carrier Restrictions: allow only the carriers or services you list for the item, or exclude them.
- Pricing: price records, such as MSRP and cost.
Item types
Product is the default. An item can also be a raw material, component, consumable, equipment or a virtual item. Its unit of measure can be each, roll, sheet, pack, box or case.
On the item page
The page groups the details into Overview, Dimensions, Pricing, Shipping Rules and Related, with packaging and identifiers to the side. Related links the item's customs profile, consumable, consumable requirements and aliases. The title bar has QR Code and Activity Timeline.
