Void labels

Void one label or many from the shipment page, the order or the batch. The refund shows as a credit in your billing activity, including while it is still pending.

How it works

Void a label you won't use from wherever you find it.

  • One shipment: Open the shipment and select Void Label.
  • Several shipments: Select them in Shipments and void them together.
  • An order: Use Void Labels on the order and check the labels you want to void.

Several labels are voided in one go, and each one gets its own result.

Results

  • Successfully voided: The label is cancelled.
  • Voided, refund pending verification: The label is cancelled and the refund is waiting on the carrier.
  • Already voided or Already shipped, cannot void: Nothing changes.
  • Shipment not found by carrier: The carrier has no record of it.

A voided label shows as Voided on the shipment and in your Shipments list. The batch's payment details show the total refunded.

Who can void

Individual shippers can void their own labels. On a business account, voiding needs the void labels permission on your role.

Unpaid labels

A label in a batch that isn't paid for before the payment time runs out is voided for you.

See Voiding a Label in the knowledge base for a full walkthrough.
