Item aliases

Map alternate SKUs and external ids to one item, for each app or integration.

How it works

An item alias is another SKU or external id for one of your items. Each alias records which app or marketplace integration it belongs to, so the same item can carry a different SKU for each channel.

What an alias records

Item: the item the alias points to.
Alias SKU: the other SKU.
External ID: an id for the item from the other system, if it has one.
Marketplace Integration or App: where the alias is used.

Where to find them

An item's aliases are listed in the Related section of its page. Open an alias to see its item and where it's used, or create a new one from the item aliases page.

Viewing aliases needs permission to read both items and marketplace integrations.
