Separate label and packing slip printers
Set one default printer for 4x6 labels and another for 8.5x11 packing slips. Packing slips always print as PDF.
How it works
A packing station usually has two printers, one for 4x6 shipping labels and one for full-page packing slips. ShipGenius keeps a default for each, so every document goes to the right printer.
Set it up
Go to Settings, Packout & printing. Under Label Printer, choose the printer for shipping labels and its label format: PDF, PNG or ZPL. Under Packing Slip Printer, choose the printer for packing slips. Packing slips always print as 8.5x11 PDFs, so that printer has no format to pick.
These choices are saved on the computer you set them on, so each packing station keeps its own printers.
Printing to local printers needs the ShipGenius desktop app, or the Device Server when you work in the browser.
While you pack
With Auto-ship when all items packed turned on, the order ships as soon as every item is in a carton, and the label goes to your label printer.
