Facilities
Add each warehouse and ship-from location as a facility with its address, contact and close time. Set the DHL Express pickup cutoff per facility.
How it works
A facility is a warehouse or other place you ship from. Add them under Facilities.
What a facility has
- Name and Company: Such as Main Warehouse and your company name.
- Address: Street, city, state and postal code.
- Facility Type: Ship From or Return.
- Phone Number and Email Address: The facility's contact details.
- Close Time: When the facility closes for the day.
- DHL Express Cutoff Time: The latest time for a DHL Express pickup.
Where facilities are used
- Labels: An order's label ships from its facility's address.
- Batches: Order batches and batch runs are built per facility.
- Routing: Routing guides and the Send to a facility workflow step assign orders to a facility.
- Pickups: The close time goes with DHL Express pickup requests.
- Returns: A shipping plan can name a return facility, and its address becomes the return address on the plan's orders.
- Manifests: Narrow a manifest to one ship-from facility.
Your account can also set a default facility in OMS configuration.
