Rapid batches

Work down a queue of single-item or same-SKU orders by scanning. Scan the item, then scan a carton to ship it. Every order in the batch is checked before you reach it, so a blocked order shows up before anyone scans it.

A rapid batch in packout with the order queue on the left, each row showing the details of the order, and the work card asking you to scan a carton to ship.

How ShipGenius differs

Every workable order in a rapid batch is pre-validated when the batch opens. With auto-validate on, addresses are validated in the background while you pack, and each order's row shows whether it's ready.

How it works

Open a singles or SKU bulk batch from the Fulfill page. The batch shows as one queue that you work down from the top. Scan the item, then scan a carton to ship, and packout moves on to the next order.

Singles and SKU bulk

  • Singles: every order in the batch has one item.
  • SKU bulk: every order is for the same SKU. The work card shows the count for each order. With scan-verify off, you can enter the count by hand.

Orders are checked before you get to them

When the batch opens, ShipGenius pre-validates every order that can be worked. With Auto-validate addresses turned on in your packout settings, each order's address is also validated in the background.

Each row in the queue shows a readiness chip, so a blocked order is visible before you scan it. If you scan faster than validation runs, the ship waits for that order's check to finish.

Cartons

Pick the carton from your consumables, use a custom size, or ship a single unit in the item's own box. The label prints when the order ships.
