Scan-at-counter labels
Skip the printer for domestic USPS and UPS labels. Choose Scan at counter and you get a code to show at the counter. USPS prints the label there, and UPS also gives you a printable copy.
How it works
When a shipment's selected rate is USPS or UPS, the batch panel asks How do you want your label? before you buy.
- Print label: You get a label file to print and attach to the package.
- Scan at counter: You get a code to show at a USPS or UPS counter, and they print the label for you.
USPS keeps the label when you choose Scan at counter, so there's nothing to print. UPS gives you a printable label as well as the code. USPS scan codes work for domestic shipments.
Mixed batches
The choice covers every USPS and UPS label in the batch. If some labels are from other carriers, the panel tells you how many, and those stay printable labels.
After you buy
The batch page shows each shipment's code under Scan at counter. Show it on your screen at the counter. They scan it, then print and attach the label.
On your phone
The mobile app starts on Scan at counter for individual shippers. You can switch to Print label on the review step.
