Inventory records
See inventory for each item, facility and location, with on hand, damaged, on hold and frozen quantities. Each record shows its allocations, history and activity. Inventory gets its own section in the sidebar with Allocations, Backorders and Locations.
How it works
An inventory record is an item's inventory at one place in a facility, either a named location or the facility's inventory that isn't in a location. Open Inventory in the sidebar to see every record.
What a record shows
- Quantities: on hand, damaged, on hold and frozen. On hand counts every unit that's physically there, including damaged, held and frozen units.
- Facility total: the item's on hand, allocated, purchasable and backordered quantities across the facility.
- Allocations: the orders this inventory is allocated to.
- History: the latest changes, each with its reason.
Working with records
From a record, use Change status, Move to location or Transfer to facility. On the Inventory page, Add inventory adds inventory for any item at any facility and creates the record if there isn't one yet.
The Inventory section
With inventory tracking on, Inventory gets its own section in the sidebar, with Allocations, Backorders and Locations under it. While it's off, the Inventory page explains what tracking does and offers setup to an account admin.
