Shipment tracking
Follow a shipment through a timeline of carrier tracking events on the shipment page. It works for any carrier. Through the API you can also subscribe to tracking updates.
How it works
Open a shipment and select View Tracking. The tracking events come straight from the carrier and show as a timeline, newest first.
- Last Known Location: The city, state and ZIP of the most recent scan.
- Each event: Where it happened, the date and time, and what the carrier says happened.
If there are no scans yet, you'll see No tracking events yet. Tracking is available once the shipment has a paid label.
Carriers
Tracking works for labels from USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL Express, DHL eCommerce, UniUni and Pitney Bowes, whether the label was bought on ShipGenius rates or on your own account.
Through the API
Developers can look up tracking for a label and subscribe email addresses to tracking updates with the API. One request can add several subscribers, and you get a result for each one.
