Mass batches
Ship many identical orders at once. The batch moves through three steps, Carton, Rate and Ship, and any order can be edited in place without leaving the batch. When a carrier refuses an order, you see the carrier's message word for word.
How ShipGenius differs
When a carrier refuses orders in a mass ship, those orders go on hold and the batch shows each carrier message word for word above the rows it applies to. Any order can be opened with Edit Order and fixed without leaving the batch.
How it works
A mass batch is for many orders with the same contents. The batch moves through three steps, shown down the left side of the screen.
- Carton: choose one carton for the whole batch, the item's own box, or a custom size.
- Rate: rate every order in the batch.
- Ship: buy the labels for every order that can ship.
A finished step can be reopened if you need to change something. Use Edit Order to fix a single order in place.
When a carrier refuses an order
While the labels are bought, each row shows whether that order is shipping, shipped or on hold. If the carrier refuses an order, it goes on hold. A banner shows how many orders were put on hold and each carrier message, word for word, above the rows it applies to.
Printing the batch
Nothing prints on its own in a mass batch. When you're ready, print every label in the batch in one action, hold labels included. Choose the order they print in: as shipped, by carrier or by service.
The Ship step also shows how many orders shipped on each carrier service.
