Fulfillability status on orders

Every order gets a badge: Fulfillable, Partial, Backordered or Not inventory tracked. Filter on it or add it as a column in the Orders list.

How it works

Every order gets a fulfillability status based on its allocations.

  • Fulfillable: every tracked line has inventory allocated.
  • Partial: some lines are allocated and some are backordered.
  • Backordered: no line could be allocated inventory.
  • Not inventory tracked: no line is for a tracked item, or the account doesn't track inventory.

Where it shows

  • Order page: Fulfillability sits with the order's status, next to its ship status and hold.
  • Orders list: filter on Fulfillability or add it as a column to see which orders can be packed and which are waiting on inventory.
  • Order references: where an order shows up on other records, it carries a Backordered or Partly backordered badge when it applies.

When inventory arrives

Backordered allocations are released as inventory comes in, in the order set by Backorder release order in OMS configuration, and the order's status updates.
