Track inventory per item

How it works

Each item has a Track inventory checkbox on its create and edit forms. While your account tracks inventory, a tracked item has inventory allocated to its open orders, and its purchasable quantity is published to every marketplace that receives inventory.

Items you leave untracked aren't allocated and aren't published.

The Inventory section

The item page gets an Inventory section. It says whether the item is tracked and lists each facility with its on-hand and purchasable quantities. Select a facility to open its facility total with the full breakdown.

Changing inventory from the item

Use Change inventory status on the item page to move units between statuses or enter a recount without opening each record.

Tracking many items at once

During inventory setup, you can start tracking every item you imported in one step. The setup page tells you how many items have records from that setup before you start.
