How DHL Express works in ShipGenius
DHL Express is a BYO carrier on ShipGenius. You need an existing DHL Express account to use this integration — ShipGenius does not provide DHL Express rates directly. Once connected, your account rates are used to generate labels and you can rate shop DHL Express alongside your other connected carriers.

Setting it up
From your ShipGenius account, go to carriers and connect your DHL Express account credentials. Once connected, DHL Express will appear as a carrier option when rate shopping eligible international shipments.
DHL Express rates are premium by design. They are best suited for time-sensitive shipments where delivery speed justifies the cost. For standard international shipping where speed is less critical, compare against USPS International and Passport Global before selecting DHL Express.
Customs and documentation
DHL Express international shipments require accurate customs documentation including commercial invoices, declared values, and harmonized tariff codes. ShipGenius generates the required customs forms at the time of label purchase. You as the shipper are the exporter of record and are responsible for the accuracy of all customs information submitted.
Which plans include DHL Express
DHL Express is available on Plus, OMS, Warehouse, and 3PL. A $0.06 per label platform fee applies. DHL Express is not available on Core — you must have your own DHL Express account to use this integration.
