FedEx is one of the largest carriers in the US offering domestic and international ground and express services. Connect your own FedEx account on Plus and above and generate labels directly through ShipGenius alongside your other carriers.
How FedEx works in ShipGenius
FedEx is a BYO carrier on ShipGenius. You need an existing FedEx account to use this integration — ShipGenius does not provide FedEx rates directly. Once connected, your account rates are used to generate labels and you can rate shop FedEx alongside your other connected carriers.

Setting it up
From your ShipGenius account, go to carriers and connect your FedEx account credentials. You will need your FedEx account number and meter number. Once connected, FedEx will appear as a carrier option when rate shopping eligible shipments.
FedEx rates on your own account depend entirely on the discount tier FedEx has assigned you based on your volume commitments. If you are a lower-volume shipper, your FedEx account rates may not be as competitive as ShipGenius UPS and USPS rates. Rate shop across all your carriers before committing to a service.
FedEx and dimensional weight
FedEx bills by dimensional weight on packages where the calculated dim weight exceeds actual weight, using a divisor of 139 for domestic shipments. Make sure your package dimensions are accurate when generating rates — inaccurate dimensions can result in carrier adjustments after the fact, which ShipGenius is required to pass through.
Which plans include FedEx
FedEx is available on Plus, OMS, Warehouse, and 3PL. A $0.06 per label platform fee applies. FedEx is not available on Core — you must have your own FedEx account to use this integration.
