ShipGenius owns a direct integration with UPS. No Shippo, no EasyPost, no middleware. Core and Plus users access ShipGenius-negotiated UPS rates out of the box. If you have your own UPS account, bring it on Plus and above and route labels through our infrastructure at $0.06 per label.
How UPS works in ShipGenius
ShipGenius connects directly to UPS — we built and maintain this integration ourselves. When you rate shop in ShipGenius, UPS rates are pulled in real time from our negotiated contract. You never need a UPS account to access discounted rates on Core or Plus.

BYO UPS account
If you have your own negotiated UPS contract, you can connect it on Plus and above. Your account rates will be used instead of ShipGenius rates, and labels will be generated under your account number. A $0.06 per label platform fee applies on BYO accounts.
UPS accounts require significant volume to obtain and maintain. If you don't have one, ShipGenius rates are already competitive — especially on packages over 8 lbs.
UPS and dimensional weight
UPS bills by dimensional weight on packages where the calculated dim weight exceeds the actual weight. Make sure your package dimensions are accurate when generating rates — inaccurate dimensions can result in carrier adjustments after the fact, which ShipGenius is required to pass through.
Which plans include UPS
UPS discounted rates are available on Core at no monthly fee. On Plus and above you can use ShipGenius rates or connect your own UPS account. UPS is supported across all five ShipGenius tiers.
