How USPS works in ShipGenius
ShipGenius connects directly to USPS. When you rate shop, USPS rates are pulled in real time. You never need your own USPS account to access discounted rates on Core or Plus — they're available the moment you sign up.

BYO USPS NSA account
If you have a USPS Negotiated Service Agreement, you can connect it on Plus and above. Your contract rates will be used in place of ShipGenius rates, and labels will generate under your NSA. A $0.06 per label platform fee applies on BYO accounts.
USPS NSA agreements are issued directly by USPS to high-volume shippers and are not easy to obtain. If you don't have one, ShipGenius rates are competitive for most package types and destinations.
USPS and package restrictions
USPS has specific size and weight limits that vary by service. Priority Mail and Ground Advantage have a 70 lb maximum. Express has specific dimension limits. ShipGenius will surface available services based on your package details — if a service doesn't appear, your package likely falls outside that service's limits.
Which plans include USPS
USPS discounted rates are available on Core at no monthly fee. On Plus and above you can use ShipGenius rates or connect your own USPS NSA account. USPS is supported across all five ShipGenius tiers.
