Orders and automation
Manage orders from every channel in one list, batch them for fulfillment, and automate routing, cartonization and repetitive steps with the workflow builder.
Orders list
See every order in one table with the columns you choose. Search, save filters, share a link to a view, and export. Select orders to edit them in bulk, hold or cancel them, validate addresses, sync them to the marketplace, cartonize them, or print pack slips and documents.

Work an order from its own page. Fulfill it, rate shop it, print labels or a pack slip, void labels, short ship, hold or unhold it, cancel it, validate the address, or sync it to the marketplace. A hold can print a hold label.

Rate an order where it is, then buy and print the label. Override the weight by hand or take it live from a USB scale. If an item ships in its own box, that box is offered as the package.
Learn more: Order rate shopOrder batches
Group orders into batches for fulfillment, usually by facility. Create a batch by hand and add or remove orders as you go. Packers open the batch on the Fulfill page to pack it.
Learn more: Order batchesBatch runs
Batch every unbatched order in one run. Set the Mass batch minimum, include split-shipment orders, recompute cartonization and generate packing slips as part of the run. Progress shows live, and you're asked for cartons when a mass batch needs them.

Create priority codes with a description and a badge color, and use them to rank orders.
Learn more: Priority levelsRouting guides
Set rules that choose which facility fulfills an order. Allow split shipments when an order can ship from more than one facility.
Learn more: Routing guidesFacilities
Add each warehouse and ship-from location as a facility with its address, contact and close time. Set the DHL Express pickup cutoff per facility.
Learn more: FacilitiesWorkflow builder
Write your fulfillment rules as a workflow. Build it with cards in Builder, or edit the YAML in Code. It checks as you type, lists any problems, and has a Reference tab and a starter template to begin from.
How ShipGenius differs
A workflow is one document you can edit with cards or as code, and switch between the two at any time. It is checked as you edit, can be tested with a dry run against a real record, and keeps every version.

Workflow triggers
Start a workflow when a record is created, updated or deleted, on a schedule, or by hand. An update trigger can wait for changes to the fields you choose. Narrow any trigger with conditions, a source integration or a saved filter.
How ShipGenius differs
ShipGenius workflows allow you to target any field of any record in the system and create your own unique set of actions to run. The workflow system is designed to be a pseudo programming language to interact with our system in a way AI agents can understand as well as a person using our workflow builder UI.
Workflow actions
Steps a workflow can take on an order. Send it to a facility, rate shop it in a rate group, ship it with a service, limit it to a shipping plan, set pickup preferences, run cartonization, hold it, add a note, set the priority, validate the address, set references, fill in customs, refresh it from the marketplace, change its lines, or generate a pack slip or document.
Workflow logic and integrations
Add logic to a workflow with if/else, repeat for each, and record lookups. Call a web address, run a script, remember a value, write to the run log, or stop and skip steps.

Workflow versions, runs and collisions
Every saved change becomes a version you can compare with a diff. Each run is recorded, and an on/off switch controls the workflow. If two runs write different values to the same field, it's flagged as a collision.
How ShipGenius differs
ShipGenius actively tries to find issues in your workflows and let you know they're problematic before it becomes an issue. Each workflow clearly lists any collisions it finds and you can subscribe to this type of event in our Notifications setup.
Workflow secrets
Store the credentials your HTTP and script steps need as workflow secrets, so they stay out of the workflow itself. These keys are encrypted and stored safely. Use these as variables in the workflow to allow secure requests to other API's.
Run a workflow from any record
Run a manually triggered workflow on a record from its Run Workflow action. Pick the workflow from the list and it runs on that record.
